Paint Protection Film is a clear rugged urethane film topped with a clear coat layer to exhibit a paint-like gloss. With a little care and regular maintenance it will maintain its glossy finish, overall look and performance.
- You may see a few water bubbles appear under the film. This is normal and typically will go away once the film has cured (up to 30 days).
- If you notice any edges lifting, please give us a call immediately.
- Always be sure to keep a high-pressure water hose at least 36" away from your film's edge and surface.

|
|
- Bird droppings and bug splats should be removed as quickly as possible by flushing the area with lukewarm water. Some bugs may leave stains that normally bleach out in the sun after a few weeks.
-
You can use a liquid-based car wash soap, extra-soft wash mitt, and water to wash the covered areas.

RECOMMENDED CARE PRODUCTS: |
 |
XPEL PPF Cleaner (16 oz bottle)
XPEL Paint Protection Film Cleaner removes most environmental deposits such as tar, oil, hard water stains, bug acids and other contaminants from Polyurethane paint protection films. Its deep cleaning action restores the clear, glossy, freshly-installed appearance of the film.
|
 |
XPEL PPF Sealant (16 ounce bottle)
XPEL Film Sealant is an acrylic polymer product that is purpose-made for protecting any aliphatic urethane paint protection film. The sealant forms a hardened barrier when exposed to UV light. By sealing off the pores in the film, the sealant will reduce absorption of pollutants, tar, and pollen; as well as staining due to hard water and bugs by 90%. Because this product is engineered specifically for Aliphatic Polyurethane, it is much more durable on Paint Protection Film than other waxes and polishes. Apply XPEL Film Sealant monthly for maximum protection.
